There's a little devil in heaven, he was faithful to the end
And its so so hard to put in words how I miss my little friend
I had my little canine friend for almost Thirteen years
And as the memories come back they fill my eyes with tears

There's a little devil in heaven he made my life complete
He only wanted feeding, some water, and a treat
And in return he gave me his friendship and his love
So I'm sure he'll be waiting to walk with me above

There's a little devil in heaven, he walked through fields with me
Come rain or shine we had to go to find a post or tree
And in the summer when I walked, around the lake with him
When it was hot he seemed to smile and jump in for a swim

There's a little devil in heaven, he crept in through the back
And lay there by an angel's foot and waited for a snack
And if I could I walk along the Lords celestial track
Id say, he just came for a peep, and can I take him back
