I really like this coffee grinder. My other older one (I’ve had it since 1994) finally gave up the ghost. I decided to replace it with a burr grinder as I read that you get a more even grind with them vs the metal blade like the one I had.One of the things I love is the fact that you can set the grind. There are actually 35 different settings! I’m still working on getting the perfect setting, but I’m happy with where I started. I make cold brew coffee, French press and also drip coffee maker. This gives me the ability to do coarse required for the cold brew and French press and the medium for the coffee maker.This also has the ability to choose the number of cups being made. Once again, I’m trying to find the correct amount of coffee beans to put in the hopper for what I am using it for and how many cups I’ll be making.One thing that surprised me was how relatively quiet it is. I expected something quite loud but it was not the case. The coffee was finished in no time! Today’s grind was for cold brew, which for obvious reasons I haven’t tasted yet, and for a French press. It was delicious!! My husband said he could drink it every day!I like that the measuring spoon and small brush are stored on the cap of the hopper, although it took me a bit to figure out that’s where they were! I thought I had been shorted!! As was stated elsewhere, there is a bit of “burp” of ground coffee when all grinding was finished. Easy clean up though.It is small enough to not take over the whole area that I have it in. Very easy to use and designed to be so. The price was very good. I wasn’t after a high end grinder, but this is exactly what I needed at a much cheaper price than many others that I saw and seems well worth the money.Very well made item, well designed and can see it being used for many years to come.
